yep. Just near Hawthorn station and the 75 tram goes just down the road, the 48 a bit further away.
There is a park across the road
Seperate bathroom and kitchen
Big longue room
$220 per week.
I am very happy with the house.
So on Friday I had an interview. I think I will get the job, I think the fact I can use a telephone will get me through on that one. I went to work, then went out to see Head Filled Attraction and Bushido at the Evelyn with Crystal, Robin and Carlene. During the evening we went for coffee and cake which is apparently "so Melbourne". I think it's actually pretty standard in most cities, it just doesn't generally cost $8.80 for a slice of cake. But anyway, I had a good night, I also bumped into Simon twice just along Brunswick Street, which was kind of random.
Yesterday I managed to pass 7 hours of telemarketing without making a sale. My calls were being monitored and they I sounded totally bored. Which I was. But yeah, I dropped Mondays and Wednesdays, which was a good choice. Going to Warnambool this Monday and Wednesday, doing some footbag demos. I have a few bags to sell, so I should come back with a little bit of cash. Dan gave me some more bags to sell today.
Last night I went out with Kate and Angela and some characters from work. We started at the Harp, and suffered a few casualties, before we headed into the city, had some dinner then went to a couple of random bars down alleyways, which were pretty funky. Was contemplating going to a few different shows (Nation Blue @ Arthouse, Her Nightmare @ Bang etc) but couldn't really be bothered to make up my mind, so we just kinda wandered around the city.
So I finally got to see the new house at 11pm at night. It's good.
Today we bought some groceries. There are few things we're lacking in the house at the moment liek a fridge, washing machine, couch, most of the normal stuff you would expect. But that's not too concerning so far. It will come.
We went and had breakfast on some place on Bridge Rd, which I will make sure I never return to again. It took fucking ages for the food, which wasn't really that crash hot.
I played footbag with Dan today. Nobody else showed up and I came an hour late, so he wasn't in a good mood. We played in Flinders Street. I didn't really hit anything new, but I was playing reasonably. So in August he goes away for a few months, for Worlds, and then to Japan. This is quite exciting, because I will take over all of the demos and everything. So by the end of the year, there is huge potential for me to be making plenty of money out of footbag. I like the sound of that.
So anyway, I'm in the city, now I will just go on a short tram journey, and I will already be at home. Fuck you, V-Line!
When I walked in here, I found that the Raiders had lost, AGAIN, by a small amount, AGAIN. Fucking hell. Stupid team. Argh.
