big night last night
big, big, big night.
Didn't make any sales yesterday. Thought I might have had another last minute sale, but no love.
Went to Fiddler's with everyone from work. Drank A LOT. This place is basically like Kingo's, but with 2 for 1 drinks til 7. The owner of the company Greg, also came by and he bought shots, and he bought wine, and then I'm pretty sure this girl Mel denied him because he is a sleazy old man with a wife and then he went off in a huff, so I drank the rest of his wine.
Headed up to the Arthouse and saw Brisk, it was pretty great. Not a huge turnout, but fairly solid. I was really, very, very drunk. Then I caught the last train home. I caught a taxi home, but I didn't end up having enough money, so in the end I got a free ride. The driver was pretty cut.
Kate made a giant breakfast this morning. Muffins, bacon, eggs, tomato. Pretty ruling. I still don't feel too good. Starting to feel better.
Listening to the new Machine Head. Somebody told me last night that it was the best metal album to come out since Fear Factory's Demanufacture. I dunno if I'd go that far. But it's great. I hope they come out to Australia sometime soon.
Yesterday I met TWO people, on seperate occasions, who I had taken on a tour of the AIS. One was friends with Rohan, who quit from work the other day. I had a conversation with him on a school group. Then at the arthouse, there was this guy who was wearing a Sick Of It All shirt on the tour, and he remembered me. Pretty weird.
All in all, good night. Spent too much money though. Have none left. Will probably have to give these other shows a miss. Did buy a weekly ticket starting from tomorrow though, so I've got transport covered til next Saturday.
