I'm in Geelong
it has been pretty cold and overcast down here (in Victoria, who would have thought?) but today is looking like a nice day. Yesterday we wandered around, originally in the aim of getting fish and chips, but the place was closed down forever, so that didn't happen. Ended up having Japanese, definitely a good feed. After this we bought snacks and beer and headed back to consume these products. Some of Kate's friends came around, and we drank beer and then had a big spag bol feast.
Australia is doing very well in the cricket. England are so pathetically hopeless this time around.
I go to Melbourne on Saturday and to Tasmania on New Year's Day. I don't really have too much else to report. I got a CD voucher for Christmas for Leading Edge stores, and conveniently the Leading Edge store in Geelong has a good range of metal. I sussed out what to buy with the voucher yesterday and I'm going to get
Machine Head- Burn My Eyes ($20) (for some reason I don't already own this one) and
Opeth- Blackwater Park ($10)
and I have decided to change my song for the routine at the aussies before I was going to do it to Bulls on Parade by RATM but I think I would fuck it up, so I'm going to do it to Davidian by Machine Head instead.
