(no subject)
so uni is all over (as long as I passed that one measly exam, which I would think that I did). Thommo was over and we were all discussing our future plans. It was looking fairly likely that all of our immediate futures would have us on the dole.
But anyway, my longer term plan is to start a business. The main purpose will be to put on shows, run a webzine, maybe start a distro, other band related things. And then work on expanding into sports and a range of other things. I've been running the "Increase Gig Guide" for a while now, though I don't really have the time to put a whole lot of effort into running that, well I haven't lately. I have a whole lot of time now. But the business shall be called "Increase Management Solutions" because the Increase name as a little bit of a reputation in Canberra, though not really that much. It all rolls off the tongue pretty well also, and sounds very professional.
I need to talk to Leigh about his offer of setting up a .com and everything for a webzine for free, I would defintiely like to take that up. Most people I've talked to (except my parents) have been very positive about the whole thing, and I believe that I can make it work. A lot of people have offered different things, so it could well be a success.
For a while between yesterday and today I was kinda rich, that's all over. Bills, plane tickets, food, has all put an end to that. Doug was saying him and Josh may go out on the town tonight. I'm going to go for steak with Paddy and Joel over that side of town, so I may catch up with them on the way back through, could be a good way to go. Though I have to work tomorrow at 8:30am. Sigh.
