Bega-town
we're down in Bega now, it's been pretty good so far (one night!). Had quite an amusing night last night, once we got in Trent calls and is all "come down the Commy man" (the Commercial Hotel). So after dinner we arrived in style, and about 5 mins in Kate had been targetted as "fresh meat" and bogan dudes like Dane Burton were rubbing slyly against her back, in stylish council worker uniform. So we drank a whole lot, waiting for Trent to get his songs played on the jukebox. Hutcho was there, and there was the usual..."man....we go way back, I knew him since I was 10...we used to play gauntlet in the backyard!" thing going on. He was also loving the beard I'm rocking at the moment.
After a while, we tired of the bogans and headed home, stopping by Trent's to pick up some booze and the new Mastodon CD, which BTW is pretty great. After listening to that we played some more tracksof great bands (+ gay ones like Bronski Beat- probs worst band ever). Eventually I got rid of Trent and Alison so I could go to bed peacefully with Kate. So today we will probably go to the steiner school fair, then head out to the beach. Dinner tonight and then some sort of drinking activities at Trent's.
I'm having a pretty good time, things are good.
