hello journal

I'm at Kate's house.

We had a massive ravioli meal and I ate far too much, so now I'm too full.

So I'm feeling a lot more confident with the intro to psych research assignment, I should be able to do that fairly quickly.

I just looked up on TV and this guy from liverpool scored this ridiculously crazy far away goal. How insane.

It'll be awesome once I make some friends at work at the AIS and stuff. In a few years time I'll all be like "ah yeah, a guy I worked with is going to the Olympics".

Today I was on a tour with a couple of rowers, and they were talking about this guy who is really intense into training. Apparently he does a lot of cycling and busts a lot of inner tubes, so what he does is, once a tube busts, the next time he rides, he'll walk into Civic, buy some tubes, have a coffee, walk home, then go on a massive ride.

The talk of all the training the athletes their do makes me think that I, or nobody else in the Australian scene really, does enough training for footbag. I think I should do some more cross training or something. As well as play more footbag itself.

After class I saw Rae, who's living on res near ben's house, and I headed in that direction. ON the way down we saw Jacinta of CueFM fame, and she was all like "come with me while I interview this guy". His name was Simon Phillips I think, he was some sort of folk guy from WA. He was pretty nice though.

I went and saw Ben for a while, and not too much else has happened today really. I got Tim his Mars Volta tix. Tool debt halved...woo! The first aim of having this job is to not owe anybody any money. Good plan.

Tomorrow I think I'll have to be up pretty early, Kate has an early class, I'm also planning on getting over to the AIS for the 10am tour. This will be my last tour, then I'll get assessed and be able to strike it out on my own. I really enjoy doing the tours actually, it's pretty good fun.

And I get to feel famous and sign autographs.

Heading of to the family reunion with Kate tomorrow. Gundagai tomorrow night, Victoria in the day on sat, Albury at night Sat/Sun and then back to Canberra on Monday.

So I guess I should do some schoolwork tomorrow before leaving.

I got the invite for Megan's wedding today, crazy.

dinner, victoria, autographs, ais, uni, weddings
