I should have felt something
yeahhhh. Not much of an eventful day today, but I did get quite a few things done.
Did a whole lot of data entry for the raiders stuff. I have got all the envelopes that are in so far into access, and so far we have 500 returns, which means we only need to get back 100 more to reach the target.
I did a vague attempt at a flier for the show I'm putting on for my birthday. It looks pretty gay
but anyway. It's something to get out there
I got a message this evening from one of the dudes from Mary Jane Kelly, and they're keen on playing a Canberra show sometime soon, so I asked if they would like to join this lineup too. That'd be pretty rad.
Went to free BBQ with Benno, there were a lot of people down there. Had a few sausages, and a beer also. Got home to see the end of the Broncos vs Eels game. Broncos won, so now I want Raiders to beat sharks next week and Parra to lose to North Qld. This is a possibility, but my guess is things will go the other way. Anyhow. If things do work out and raiders end up playing the bulldogs, me Doug and Thommo may go up to watch that game. That'd probably be fun.
I'm going to Fear Factory. If I've got some good cash, that'll be a big night. And Todd is giving me a ticket for half price. Because he is bitter and giving away Mason's concert tickets. Sweet deal.
I started cleaning my room today. It's definitely not a one night job, but it's definitely starting to look a little better I guess. Definitely needs more work though. I reckon if I do get it clean, I might even move some stuff around, jsut for a change. But my room has a fairly good set up at the moment. So I probably won't end up changing it. I don't really want to change where my computer is, otherwise I will have my back to the door, and I can't see that working as well as it's current location.
I lost my sheet with the times and everything for the field trip to Braidwood, it was lucky Briony was online earlier on tonight, so I'm not going to look like a chump not knowing where I'm meant to be going. It will be interesting to see how the old Braidwood turns out. At least we will get some nice baked goods out of the day. And it'll be good for the assignment and all.
I was talking to Kelly earlier tonight. She was in Paris a few days ago and ran into Steph and Prue from Sydney. One was wearing a TBE shirt and they got to talking and it seems that they got to the talking point of how great I am. Happens all the time I guess :P.
I was going to call my Dad up tonight. I want to see if he wants to come see ....Dead when the family comes up. I reckon Alison will come, and it would give me great amusement to bring Dad (or even Mum) along to the show.
yay! Mary Jane Kelly are going to play the Die Trying show too. Pretty sure Paddy said that when they saw them in Wollongong they played a Casey Jones cover. It's no Fight For Us..but it is getting there
