BIRTHDAY PRESENT = TOOL TICKET

YES! My Dad called me up and was wondering what the family should get me. His suggestion was a travel bag. He's like "didn't your last one break at Brisbane airport?". I think it actually broke in the middle of the city in brisbane when I was on my to Sydney after we went up there were New Year's. It's pretty crazy talking to Cassie, because I can hold up a conversation for plenty of time about places in Brisbane (STANG!) and things that have happened while I've been in Brisbane. I've been up there a lot of times since I started uni. Before I started uni I'd never been there before. Haha although there was some drunken statement to Josh when he went away that went something like "mannnn I'm gonna come to Brisbane EIGHT TIMES next year". So far I'm up to 2, and don't see that figure increasing much further. None of these big statements that I make to Josh ever come true. It's probably because I'm always so wasted in the process of making the statements.

Anyway. Yesterday was a pretty crappy day really, so I just used today to do a bit of relaxing really. After Dad called I was getting tired of doing nothing, so played some footbag. Today I played really poorly, but was just feeling good to be outside, and did hit a solid midrun blur, which I've never hit before. After my kick I went and had a go of this new strength training thing that Tim bought a few weeks ago. It was actually the first time I've ever seen it, just because I never go into the garage. Anyway...I couldn't really do much on it, as I am far from strong. I did a few chin ups, some push ups, and a couple of other things, and then came out with very sore arms/shoulders.

But anyhow, I was in a very "fitness ahoy" kind of mood, so I'm all like "I'm going for a run". Probably less than halfway through the run I was all like "fatigue oh noes" and so it was mainly walking from there. When I got back into Belco, there were a whole lot of dudes skating the kink. Lo and behold, it was the "Be-mag tour". There were a couple of American dudes, I'm actually not even sure who they were... that's how "up to date" I am these days. And there were a few other dudes who are pretty damn good. I stuck around for a while, hadn't seen any of the guys in ages actually. eventually it got really, really cold, so I headed back home.

Sound underground tonight. Carpathian, Break Even, 50 Lions, DYOG, Hard Luck. It's $15 which annoys me, but it will be good to hang out with everyone anyway. I just had a massive feast of pasta, so full now.
