so. I'm pretty sure I'm going to absolutely hate "introduction to psychological research". I was thinking that it's somewhat amusing that in the final semester of my course, I'm doing an "introduction" subject.
But anyway, on to the whining.
It used to be called "Measurement of Sport" but I'm guessing the uni decided it would be cheaper to get all the psych and sports kids into the one subject. So now it's way more of a psych subject, and it has pretty much zero relevance to a "Sports Management" course. (That said, the old measurement wasn't that much better, but at least it was about sport).
Also. It's a first year subject, and now I'm in third year, and that's no good. It also means I know NOBODY in the subject (there's about a million keen first years that go to the lectures).
Also. Because it's not at all interesting and I don't own BOTH of the textbooks, I won't read the required readings, and then I will fall behind. I am really going to lose here. I think I better get my arse into line and start getting prepared.
Uni this semester is far too serious for my likings. Tonight I would normally get wasted and go to the bar, but I have to go to the raiders at 9am, so I'll give that a miss. These internships have all the pressures of a real job, without the benefits of being paid.
Tonight I'm going to make Sam dinner. So we can both reap the benefits of me going and buying meat.
Ben bought the Mastodon album, I think it's called Levathian, it's so awesome. Concept album about Moby Dick. We were listening to that quite a bit last night.
