had an exam today. I think I went pretty well...it was for sports sponsorship, which is probably the best subject we've done in the course of the degree. I've really liked this semester, it's all stuff we'll be using "in the industry" so that's good.
I sent away the cheque for the chocolates today by express post. This means it will get there tomorrow and we shouldn't have to pay any extra costs. I also saw Rachael at UCU and she said the reimbursment money should be in soon. I think I had something else to ask, but just felt like a complete retard when I didn't. I will probably be doing a demo at market day during o-week next semester...I think I may also put on a little competition on the day.
So my show planning had some good news and also some bad news
The Fight For Us and (tocata) both said yes...and Templestowe already did last night.
Hospital The Musical said they would love to, but their drummer will be away on hols, so that's no good.
I contacted Pete's Tavern about the date and they said there was already a show on there...that made me go :( so I just sent a message to Brad from Sound Underground and hopefully there will be nothing on there then...it's still a month away. I think for the other band on the lineup I might go with Lights Gone Out from Cooma....they were pretty good the last time I saw them and they'd probably play for cheap.
so hopefully I can do that with Brad, that would be good.
I played footbag today, after I got home from the mall where I had to go to post my express post cheque. It was so damn cold, I just didn't warm up at all, even though I was wearing a jumper. I didn't hit much good at all...highlight was probably whirl bsos and DATW on each side (though in different directions)
I will probably put on a trivia night sometime early next semester for the footbag club.
State of Origin is on tonight...I just hope it's an interesting game.
Final exam for the semester tomorrow. I think I might have a few drinks beforehand (it's at 9am :P) and a lot of drinks afterwards.
