(no subject)
the weather today could be described as "shit" and my mood could be described the same way. I'm really fucking tired...and last night....it was ok.
So I came to the labs, still unsure of what I was going to do. Went down and watched the raiders match with Brooke, Nathan and Melbourne...at half time I suggested to Brooke that we sit in the non-smoking area. I didn't really watch any more of the game cos the raiders have this great habit of losing after halftime...but they ended up winning 30-10 or so.
Leigh and Dana ended up coming by the labes for their dinner...so I got some salad! Dana had to leave for work then Sam came to the labes.....she drove us (me and Leigh) to O'Connor via Woolworths to by a case of beer.
I didn't really know anyone at Kate's party...except Leigh (my hot date) and Allan (from Oxfam) who of course didn't remember me. I was unsuprised. Ended up talking to Kate's grandpa (I think) for quite some time. Eventually he started rambling to much so it was time to go home. Well to Leigh's actually. We walked to his place in Macquarie...it took about an hour..turns out it's 6.5k. I thought it might have been a little further.
Anyway...we play Amped 3 on Xbox 360 for a while then watched Rage (tool guest programming) I stayed up to watch the Tool clips, and fell asleep after 3 Libras (APC) came on. There was some other really good clips as well...like isis and Messhugah. So just when the Toll clips started I called Sam and she said she'd be there in half an hour.
About 3 hours later I got a call from her saying she was there.....unfortunately I didn't really know how the hell to get out, or where to go....but I got there eventually for Sam to be "I'm so drunk" and I was like "you shouldn't be driving" and then she got all stroppy. We went back to her place and slept...I didn't really sleep much actually...at about 10:30 I decided that I wasn't going to get back to sleep and Sam wasn't going to wake up any time soon so I walked back to mine where I started doing some schoolwork, before getting frustrated and coming to the internet.
Leigh said he can probably fix our internet. Sam has the rest of Leigh's beer in her car....we should give that back.
Takedown, Dick Tracy and The Fight For Us have all said that they'll play my show...Kayte said she was keen to make it a zine launch. YAY! SO at least that's going well.
