so yeah
overall today has been a reasonable day
kinda lacked a bit in the area of excitement..but I dunno...jsut kinda bummed around
last night after Sam left I went for a run around the lake and survived without being raped, whihc I consider quite an achievement :P It was really nice though, there were a lot of stars out. Another bad thing was the darkness and the fact I would occassionly simly run off the path. Good one Dan...luckily the path never heads too close to the lake
Sam came over in the afternoon and we just hung out. It was good. She'll be back later too. yay! it's excellent that things are back on track with us. And she said I wasn't a bad person :)
After she left I went down to Belco park with Josh and had a pretty shitty skate...at least I had the confidence to start trying the rail by the side of the donut...just not the skill. I also tried to 270 over the middle thing...and failed at that..well I didn't stack, I was just really sketchy.
Tonight I watched "Bang Bang You're Dead" I really like it up until the end. The ending was kind of poor. I found that it was pretty intense up until the ending parts. oh well
karen moves out in like 2 weeks. So I better watch all her DVDs before she goes. Crazy...the house will be rather different without Karen's stuff.
hmmm...she doesn't have such a domination of the goods as when she first moved in....but the longue room will basically just have couches in it, and that's it. Interesting..... I think we all own our own TV's though...oh yeah, Tim moves back into Karen's room...which means no more bonus $20 each 2nd Friday. But the bills will go down, so it probably makes up for that. ooo and our electricity bill won't be a squillion dollars like last year. Me and Doug are all like OMGZWTF!!!!!! and Karen kinda shrugged and goes..."that's pretty normal"

I have a craving to see Karnivool again.
Also I was talking to Paddy and Kayte...for the next issues of the zine...we want to have some kind of zine launch show...and I was thinking it'd be sweet if we could co-incide Stab's last show with the next issue of the zine. I was talking to Alex the other night....I've never really talked to him, but people like Paul and others that work at JB are always talking up how much of a nice guy he is. But anyway, talking to him he said that Stab won't actually break up til about June...they have the prom queen show, then Hope After The End are coming over and they're doing shows with them, then they'll do a couple more.
Oh yeah...back to the point
we should try to arrange a final show consisting of
Stab/....Dead/The Dead Walk!/The Red Shore/Bleed You Dry
unlikely, but you know...you can dream.
I forgot to mention the performance from Stab the other night was a true sign there's not much left in the band....they were so lazy and incredibly sloppy....but you know...it's still mad fun. That's what hardcore shows are all about....just having an awesome time.
Unless it's Sydney...then it's about having a really bad haircut. Seriously on Saturday.......some of the worst trims I've seen, ever.
I also have a craving to see MM9 again....I'm seriously struggling to remember the last time I saw them...it may have even been when they played in Canberra last year...wow. I remember the days of seeing them week in, week out...those were the days.
I had a little kick today but I was too stiff and sore from the run yesterday to hit anything of value. Also on my run, I did 10 push ups before and after the run. Doing the 10 after the run was definitely a gruelling task.
So yeah...that's all I've got for today really. Just waiting around til Sam comes around again. She left her phone here as well...sillyhead! Oh yeah...Doug let me borrow $10/only pay half the phone bill til Monday...so....at least I can buy Sam some easter eggs or something
