cold and freezing, holding NOTHING
so it's cold and went in Canberra today
last night I noitced there was a guy on Ausfootbag forum who goes to ANU. I emailed him and he called me back soon after. We organised a kick for today, but now it's all rainy and shit, no shred :( Obviously he's not committed enough...I was still pretty keen...but hey, saves me the busfare which is good news. I was going to go to the touch footy punch party tonight, but don't think I could be bothered/afford it. As I have like...$3. I have some goon in the fridge...it probably won't be there by the end of the night.
So anyway...today it was my turn for my actual media conference....after my last appearance as Ronaldinho, star signing for the Canberra Kickers....this time I was Geoffrey Stockwell, PR manager, Canberra Cosmos. It's a good fun assignment...I was saying to Thommo, I'd much rather do that than write an essay.
Luckily we were last, as we were incredibly unprepared, and could iron out all the flaws. It seems all the questions were directed at me...maybe cos I was wearing a jacket....but usually the PR guy just introduces each person, and that's that...NOT THIS TIME.
The other ones I saw were quite good also...one group had a lot of signage and crap. We didn't have too much signage...kept it simple really, but James had this background thing on his laptop, which we projected, which was a good look. But all in all, it seemed to flow smoothly. We had a bit of confusion at the start, as the markers hadn't arrived, but I'm sure they did it on purpose, because you have to start at the time you say you will.
But yeah. Got a thing on Tues for Event Management, then nothing due til after the hols! :D hooray. The think for Event Management, doesn't involve much..but does involve wearing a suit. Fun times....
