yesterday I helped out Doug in his Media Conference assignment for Sports Sponsorship. What did it involve you ask?
Well...
I was Ronaldhino, newest signing for the Canberra kickers. (Funnily enough our group is also doing a Canberra a-league team starting out)
But anyway, I waited down the bottom til Doug pranked me, then ran out in to the middle of the field, juggled the ball around a bit, then ran up the stairs into the press conference. I ended up having to answer quite a few questions which was a bit annoying, since it wasn't my assignment...but it was a funny little thing, I had to try so hard not to crack up. I was wearing this ridiculous wig...and fals teeth...it was great :P
One of the questions was like with the failure of the cosmos.... and I'm like THE COSMOS ARE BACK!!!! (our group is doing the cosmos into the a-league)
so after that I went to Event Management group meeting, and we were actually fairly productive, which is quite rare. After that I met Rhys. We went to the bar...ate chips, drank beer and played footbag. The other day I hit spinning whirl....once. Which is ridiculously HUGE..hopefully I can get that a few more times. But it was good. Benno came by, then went off to class, then came back. Rhys left for a class, Benno and I left for goon. We all met again at Labes + Lee, Emily, Pete, Marco. I had steak...it was good. We played trivia afterwards. We pretty much failed. I think we were third last. And didn't have any awesome answers like "what is an anagram of thickens?" "SHITNECK" when it was actually kitchens. We just pretty much failed.
So Rhys and lots of other people are going to Sydney for Cath's 21st, which is on Sat. Hopefully they make it back for the tournament! Rhys is the hot favourite so he better be back!
I don't know if I have much else to say. Oh, Jeremy said yes to my offer of doing sponsorship proposals for the footbag tournament. That's good. SO that's that sorted for our Sports Sponsorship major project.
I still don't have an internship for Event Management. urgh. hmm I got class in a bit. Spose I should get ready
