oh my didn't go online for a whole day
the shock..the horror
so rocked up to Stab by myself, saw Ross for a bit, talked to him...then ended up seeing Duncan and Zoe later on, so I wasn't as lonesome as expected
Ross' band Mara Jade, it was their first show...there was some cool bits...although I wasn't a hugen fan of the vocals, the rest of it was pretty cool though. Moments were on next...I just really wasn't in the mood...their set really bored me....I was sooo tired (already, and I ended up staying out til 6am)...but the next band The August Reign "we're from Sunbury, not Melbourne" put on quite a show, all the dudes in the band were really into it and there was lots of crowd participation which was good fun
haah at one stage Ross goes "do a cartwheel" so of course I did one..was a very bad cartwheel though...you get that. oh yeah sorry I hit you in the balls dude!
So Stab were on next...opened up with Traitor, which was different, played a couple of new songs...and an Until The End cover.....I believe this is a band I should go and check out.
So Torr had arrived by the end of the set and we trotted off to Lithium, got there saw Eben and Michael, and not long after Ben, Nathan, Miguel, Subhan and Nawal rocked up...hung outside for a while, then me Ben and Dan went walk abouts to the servo
when we were in there, A GUY WAS TRYING TO STEAL BUTTER....the servo guy busted him....who the hell tries to steal butter?
so anyway, the first segment of time I was at Lithium I was just like this is so gay I'm not enjoying myself I'm tired I want to go home
AND THEN IT ALL CHANGED....
ooo first good thing was Jem simplefi buying me a drink...a pancake shot thing...it was real good
then this girl put glitter on my face..that wasn't good, but it led to good things
so me and Ben walk outside and these girls are like "what's the go with all the glitter?" and I told them about the strange girl and they were like I want glitter so they were all rubbing in my face and stealing the glitter
so I talked to this one girl Caroline for a while and she was like oooo Cog hoodie, did you go last night...so I was impressed, but then one of her friends stole her away
but anyway, I saw her on the dancefloor later, and we just started dancing and stuff, and we stayed on the dancefloor for a while, I think they played a few good songs in a row...and then we jsut starting holding hands and doing twirly things and stuff, and then we went closer together and kissed........and I thought it was gonna be all weird, but it was all good..so pretty much hung out with her last night..she was quite cooool :)
so not only did the night get better in that regard, but they started playing heaps of good songs that I liked....they only seem to play the songs I like at the end of the night
but the very much musical highlight of the night

dance. all the wrong songs.
Before it came on, there was something else good, but me and Caroline stayed outside, but then I heard the start of New Noise and I go we have to go in, we have to go in....and then I found Ben and also Matt and we jumped around like the crazy kids that we are. Good times.
So anyway, left Lithium at the very end (5am) took Caroline back to get a taxi home....yes, probably could of gone home with her..do I care...not really
no one messes with Dan's plans!
so it ended up working well cos Nathan, Ben and Nawahl were also heading north, so she didn't waste a taxi AND she didn't get in the taxi with any freaks
so I stayed at Dan's in the backpackers, then we got up fucking early and came back here, and Zoe picked us up and we went to the skatemeet. And it pretty much sucked. Groms everywhere. And there were more people out the week before...strange. So yeah left that pretty early "dude you need sleep.....your diet of just 2 mintute noodles is making you malnourished" both were pretty true
I GET PAID TOMORROW!!!!!!
so bbq soon, better call Dad for Father's Day...and I might send Caroline a message from Dan's phone cos she sent me a message yesterday and it begun with "hey babe" :D
oh I almost forgot..went to Raiders last night. The terrible ref calls were fucking ridiculous....and then Canberra didn't play very well...but it's tough when it's 12 against about 20 (including refs, touch judges, etc) so Canberra...2nd last....our worst season in a long long time. Gaycore.
