Life in the Provinces
As uncharming as we find the Journal Square area of Jersey City, every morning we are heartened to emerge from the tubes and see the bronze clock atop the historic Loews Jersey City. The verdigris catches the morning sun and the bright blue sky in the background (over the swamps of North Jersey) brighten the morning. Sadly, every afternoon the sun moves and the statue doesn't capture attention in quite the same way.
