I Hate Andrea Bocelli

I sat in La Flor this morning eating my refried beans and drinking my espresso when the cafe's sound system began playing an Andrea Bocelli cd, the one with his cover of "Besame Mucho." And it made me yearn for someone who really knows how to sing the song.

I first saw Cesaria Evora perform years ago in Lisbon, on the same vacation where first I heard my beloved Mariza sing, and I've been in love with both voices ever since.
