I guess it's been awhile since my last entry. Tuesday and Wednesday have been two of the most stressful days of my life. "the Real Spectres" have had quite a problem at the bass position recently. Tuesday I decided to have Peter C be the bass player cause he's my best friend forrrrrever, so we taught him everything and we sounded good with him. Wednesday rolls around and we are going to practice after school when for the 39999875464th time Andrew and Peter claim that they are not playing that night, whether it was nerves, being stupid or they hate me I really do not know what inspired this. Since we had about 5 hours to get ready to go on at the Bite, but then disaster striked. We got to Andrews and Peter wasn't there to meet us. I called him and turns out he couldn't play that night because his soccer coach said he was off the team if he missed practice, so we needed a bass player to teach our songs too and have ready to go on by 8. I called Hans about 4 and begged him too come. Somehow he worked it out with his Cora (his girlfriend) not to go shopping that night like they had planned weeks in advance, so after about an hour Hans came over and we practiced. Then, Andrew decided he did not want to play for whatever reason (he claimed we sounded better as a three-piece) so Andrew took over as the manager/producer, writing down the song sequences etc. We cut out "I Want More" our first song and our slow and most boring as well. Hans got the other three down and we left for the bite around 7:15 since we were supposed to be there around 7:45.
We performed and we sucked.

It is hard to really write how stressful this whole event was this last week, but it was insane. Just to get everyone to practice, which is my job, took so much effort and energy after everyones "illnesses" early on in the week. It made me realize that I just want to be in a band with all my friends and play for fun and not worry about all that stuff, I hate being the "leader" and having to call everyone everyday and see if they can play, and then try and get them to stop playing video games and practice etc.. oh well it's all done now thank god.

So thursday night a new band was formed over aim, haha. Here is the lineup : Thomas G - lead singer, Me - lead guitar, Peter C - Bass and Peter V on drums. We decided to practice Friday at around 3:30 or 4 for Peter who had to drive Elizabeth around?? oh well, turned out only Peter V showed up, we had a lot of fun, made up our own version of Seven Nation Army and had a 15 or 20 minute jam on that song after speeding up the riff on that song and adding a solo etc.. it was a lot of fun and I am glad Peter V enjoyed his first sit in on drums. PV and I went to the UPrep basketball game, where they got smashed on. Then we went to this guys house and had a jam session in the basement. I played with three or four really good musicians and enjoyed myself even though each song by the time I got it the song was already half over, but whatever it was fun.

Then PV, PC and I smoked a "koosh" blunt and PV was going crazy with his highness, and we went to QFC and kicked it like the olden days, read some Rolling Stone etc.. it was good to smoke again, it has been awhile (a month or two) and then I got chronic stomach pains because I realized I had eaten practically nothing for the third day in a row. dangit.
