I have been hugely underestimating the significance of reading my poetry at the Sydney Writer's Festival up until now. I just got sent an email from the event organiser with the running of the night and I AM THE ONLY POET PERFORMING. Bum bum bum! Now I am sooo nervous already. I thought I would be one of 10 poets? Maybe that was a bit ridiculous considering I don't even know 10 poets who live in Sydney. So now I desperately need everyone's support! Bring all of our mutual friends!!! Kerryn tell Mez! Helen tell VB!
The other performers for the night are Adam Gibson (from The Church) and his band, mc zoe zee, who is a "hip hop/performance artist" (oh boy), and Paul McDermott.
