National Hangover Day
So last night was fun. Went to the Halloween party at Mark's. Got a bunch of pictures, and I'll post those to Myspace soon. Good turnout, though I'm sad Shawn was too sick to join. First part was a lot of mingling while watching Ghostbusters. Then people played Zombies!. I went to Mark's room to watch Invasion of the Body Snatchers, but no one followed me. Oh well, it's an awesome movie. Their loss. And now I own it. Then we played some Rock Band until the mic gave out. Then everyone carried on without me and I watched until midnight 30 or so, and went home since I had to get up in the morning. I would have stayed longer if I had known game was canceled tonight. Oh well.
Anyway, I got to work to find out we were having a meeting today, which means everyone has to show up. Pretty much everyone was hung over, some people were still drunk. Fun times. Got another pin, this time for donating to the company's charity. Bonus fun: it's just a dime with a pin on the back, so I can psyche people out by making them think I have a dime stuck to me.
I later volunteered for a split shift, and on my break I ordered a honey BBQ shrimp and chicken, and the head manager walks in and offered to pay for it herself, just because I volunteered for more hours. So that's a $17 meal, which costs me $8.50 with my discount...for free! Anyway, that's possibly the tastiest thing we serve there. Get it with mashed potatoes when you order it, to soak up all the sauce. OM NOM NOM.
Anyway, got another couple hours in ACing before they sent me home, so fun times all around. Need to get to bed soon so I can get up for another day of work.
