Tastyness
Well I had a rather fun day. Thanks for presents and stuff, everyone. I'm glad everyone liked my eskimo cookies. I assume some of you would like the recipe so here it goes:
Soften 1 1/2 sticks of butter
Add:
3/4 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of water
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
3 tablespoons of cocoa
2 cups of oats
Mix by hand
Refrigerate overnight
Roll it into balls, then roll in confectioner's sugar.
And that's it. Very simple, but very tasty. One batch is actualy kind of small -- I made a double batch for the party. Also, it's best if you keep them refrigerated. Otherwise they kind of melt and absorb the sugar coating.
Also, I was introduced to a really neat webcomic which was originally an actual comic, but it's being posted page-by-page online. Girl Genius: It's a german-themed steampunk comic by Phil and Kaja Foglio. Seriously, I don't think I have to say anything more.
