Also don't be afraid to stop in and talk to an advisory and check out their course selection. It's actually a great deal of help to have someone that can give you the skinny on what the classes are all about. Just don't over do it on your first go around. Having a full time job and school is a tough act to keep up.
I was thinking about just going to the information desk and asking what I needed to do. I didn't want to look like an idiot going "how i sign up for college!?" though. I also want to know how to get financial aid.
Thing is that's what they're there for. At the very least get them to set you up with a councilor and he will be able to give to you skinny. Also you may need to take a skill assessment test just to see what starting courses they need to place you in. (I really stink at math so I was put in math 012. O_o)
The funny thing is that the college I'm going to sign up at I already attended before. But that was at least 5 years ago. I wonder if they have it on record. I had to take a pretty low math class and I really wouldn't want to repeat it. On the other hand, I'd love to take the sound recording class I took before once again. It was fun and I don't remember much from it.
