yay! It's awesome to be back home. Listening to music on real speakers is amazing. Playing guitar on my inappropriately large amp is amazing. Seeing my friends is amazing. Being vegetarian again is...not really that amazing, but whatever. Drinking Natty Boh is amazing. The honeymoon phase of culture shock is amazing. Going up to New York to visit Kate is amazing. I fuckin love this soundsystem, I never want to listen to music on shitty laptop speakers again. Today I started reading A Star Called Henry by Roddy Doyle, for the second time. Definitely one of my all-time favorite books. I think I was inspired to read it again by me and kate fantasizing about backpacking around Ireland. I can't wait to go to Red Emma's again and drink a delicious cup of fair trade zapatista coffee and reading some Chomsky. But honestly, besides getting back in touch with everyone and everything here at home, I don't really know what to do with myself before school starts again. Maybe I can bind another book...
