But I really believe in fighting Prop 8.

Those sentences everyone's posting are all very well, but I'm pretty sure there's no one on the list that reads me that doesn't already know how I feel on the subject, so posting it again doesn't sway anyone.

What the supporters of Prop 8 are doing that's much more effective than blog posts is collecting

and wish I could donate, but my tenant moved out last week so I'm facing paying two mortgages for whatever period of time it is until I get a new renter, so I'm not really in a financial position to do so.

We've already donated.

And you're right. And it's making a difference. People giving in small amounts on the web has turned this election upside down. Candidates and ballot measure postions that would have trailed in funds a few years ago are out in front. This gives them an advantage.

We're going to see better results this time from many people doing what they can.
