The news is breaking that Sarah Wayne Callies won't be back on Prison Break this season, so they can bite me.
I really enjoyed this show, but it took high degrees of suspension of disbelief at the best of times, and I mostly stuck with it because of the Michael/Sara relationship and where I wanted to see that go. I mean, with any show it's the relationships that hold me there, even if the world is falling apart.
It is beyond uncool to do what they did at the end of last season, and then yank her away from us forever. If this is Sarah's decision, that's one thing, but it's not looking that way so far. I still doubt I would watch, even if that was the case.
I know Kristin started this, but now it's everywhere else, and Ausiello says it's true. I don't like him any better, really, but I can't recall ever seeing him lie.
I really don't understand showrunners. At this juncture, I don't suppose I ever will. They keep engrossing me in these characters that I either like a lot, or love to pieces, and then they take them away from me like that's something they ought to be able to do. I have news for them:
No Mulder on The X-Files: David's decision or not, I still haven't seen several season nine episodes to this day. I stopped caring.
Cordy's comatose then dead on Angel: Joss Whedon is a retard, and I stopped watching.
Someone thought it would be a brilliant idea to kill Vaughn on Alias: STOPPED. WATCHING. Then someone thought it would be a brilliant idea to un-kill him (after approximately nine hundred bullet wounds) after the fans had a tantrum with which the producers actually had to deal.
Pattern here? Taking away halves of my couples much? They worry so much about getting couples together, but the surefire way to kill a show is to kill one half of that couple off or otherwise remove them from the show.
Why are these morons given shows to begin with when their collective IQs don't equal my shoe size (I wear a nine and a half, for those curious)? I want to know!
Sometimes I wonder why I even watch TV anymore with the stupid crap they continuously pull. You can't blame everyone, but most of them? Watch out.
I want an explanation, and I want one now. After everything Sara went through last year, she'd never just bail on Michael.
