Dixie Belles
I keep reading about the new Dixie Chicks CD and how it is surrounded by so much controversy because of a comment one of them made a few years ago about Bush. I really dont understand why her comments created the firestorm they did. I mean I do understand that the typical demographic of a Dixie Chicks concert is made up of Red Staters but still. Their comments have nothing to do with the quality of their music. Im really looking forward to their new CD. I remember I first heard them right before they became big because they opened for a Travis Tritt concert I went to in high school. I remember thinking then they had a special energy about them. Im really hoping this new CD proves all the naysayers wrong. Go Chicks!
