http://prayersforlogan.blogspot.com/2012/02/longest-day-and-trip-home.html My heart is absolutely broken tonight for Sherry Wight, and her entire family, after the loss of her sweet Logan. Just 5 years old. He battled brain cancer for 18 months, and I feel honored just getting to know them online, and be apart of their journey. I've been praying for Logan and he really touched my life, and Sherry, you are simply amazing yourself. Your blog posts were soo beautifully written and I always wondered, 'how does she have the time and energy and strength' to even post anything, let alone something so well written and thoughtful and inspiring.
Thank you for sharing your sweet Logan with us. I promise to go out and do something extra fun tomorrow, in his honor, just as you requested. I also plan to look at his picture often and remind myself of his happiness and courage, and to hold my kids just a little tighter.
Children are such a gift, and they can be taken away at any time.
If anything ever happens to me, please let my children know just how much I loved them.
Landen, Alisia, and Amaya, you mean the world to me. I would do anything for you and I love you more than anything in the world. I'm so thankful that I'm able to stay home every day and watch you grow. You are all special in your own ways, and such a blessing to your Daddy and I.
Off to check on my babies, and just watch them sleep for awhile.
