Dani! No, sweetie, I'm safely in my chair still. You haven't been gone nearly as long as you were the last time around. Though of course it would be lovely to see you popping up more frequently. And thanks for the birthday wishes.

I'm glad you enjoyed my old nostalgia post. It does all seem very long ago, doesn't it? A part of me wishes we could resurrect that old list, but then it would never be quite the same, would it?

Things with me are basically good. Busy, and with the usual healthy doses of family drama, but I certainly can't complain. How are you all doing? The girls and D good? Hope you're having a wonderful start to 2008. Keep in touch. Love you.

Glad to hear things are basically good -- your life does sound very busy, but as long as it's basically good and fulfilling, I agree that you can't complain.

For us, things are good. The girls are thriving, and D is still liking his new job.

Oh my goodness! Long time no hear from you.

For post-DH fics, I throw in another gen fic rec In the Grand Scheme of Things -- Snape thinks back to Dumbledore's request.

She also has one that was written just about the time of DH release. It's Marauders-era and wonderful: 28 Points. James always believed that Scrabble was what won Lily's heart.

You're welcome! I still am not entirely up to speed with all the post-DH fics that are out there, but I'm finding some gems that are well worth sharing.
