But I'm starting (as in for about a year) to question queer and most forms of privilege/empowerment activism as bringing little empowerment to anyone but the minority bourgeois.
I don't know. I just feel too much is made of separating everything from working class action, to the extent of people insisting that the only conception of class allowed is the liberal one (where the middle class is a reality rather than a sloppy income based abstraction tacked on the little bourgeoisie, and where your relation to the means of production is somehow an identity, leading to the aforementioned problem of the middle class).
