Goodbye 22-year-old me....
Well, today is my birthday (technically it is.... because i'm in Arizona, and in here it's just 10:31 pm...), and I can say that it was a good one...
Fortunately, it wasnt like other b-days in the past, where I have to celebrate myself because everyone is so busy and/or far away to plan something cool and nice to do, so this year, i was glad that it was different.
First of all, I got the day off!!! Well... not totally, because I will have to go to work on saturday, but that doesnt bug me, specially when my normal schedule will include saturdays, so i'm ok with that... So that was a great thing, not to have to deal with people and their money and stuff.... it was just my day
Second, I FINALLY GOT A WII!!!!!!!!!!!!! After a year of incesant begs, sly comments, open suggestions and flat out direct indirects, I got it!!!! And it is awesome!!!! The only bad thing is that it has to stay at my parents house, so I only got to play with it for half an hour, and my sister is going to enjoy my gift even more than i will, which is not good.... and because I will not be able to go to my home next weekend, I will have to wait 2 weeks to play again (which does give me plenty of time to buy the OotP game!!!)
I had an awesome time with my family, starting with the fact that my gramma finally taught me how to do flour tortillas (which is the best present I could have gotten from her ever!), dad made a superb carne asada, complete with guacamole, salsa, my tortillas, and a really strawberries and creme cake!! So I will have an awesome lunch at work tomorrow because I got to bring a lot of that back here
So, thank you too for making my day awesome, thanks for all the good wishes, they just made my day brighter and funner too!!
There is nothing left for me to say but this: Goodbye 22-year-old Danae... you accomplished a lot of things! You got a college degree and managed to get your first job, and a lot of other cool experiences... you rocked, and I, the 23 year old me, promise to make it a way lot better than you (nananananana)
