Synopsis :
The planet Earth is a living organism, shaped by the forces of geology, and more recently, man. A system of interconnected forces ensure our planet's survival.
Review :
Blue Planet is aimed at a school-age audience, but it has much to recommend it to an older viewer, even one whose knowledge of geology covers the subject at hand. The gorgeous footage of the Earth - filmed from orbit by NASA astronauts - is more than enough reason to watch. An excellent addition to a school library, homeschool library, and basic science class.
