temporary randomness

Dang, I've learned how to make my Anidb list public... I like Anidb more and more...

And the yaoi fandom goes on being such a pain a crazy thing sometimes...

Dude, this is dates from July. Little late on the trigger, eh? Actually, my arguement was more or less validated here: http://comipress.com/article/2006/08/24/624

Perhaps the Comipress article will make the fandom less 'painful' for you.

Ha ha, indeed it is, I just remembered your post cuz of some things I've been thinking. I agree with you, I actually had the brazilian yaoi fandom in mind... I notice that brazilian yaoi fans prefer to talk about fanfictions and fanarts, so most seem more aimai fans than yaoi fans, your post made me start to think about this difference. I don't really have a problem with aimai, but I just feel like I'm out of place sometimes... Like, I can't talk about original bl in portuguese (except with a few close friends), it's like talking to the walls. ^^'

My pain is not that painfull, it's just me talking to myself. I never elaborate too much cuz I don't think anyone reads my lj... ^^'

And thanks a lot for the link, that was an interesting article too. :D

When you link to my blog, it tell me. ^_^; and you have at least 11 steady readers that my stats display. LOL!

I just hate being lumped in there under the 'yaoi fangirl' umbrella when it's an insult aimed at all fans of 'male on male', when they're insulting the actual notion of 'slasher-girls'. I linked that article because, in Japan, there are two kinds of BL fans also, so I guess it's universal.

Ah, so that's it. I know nothing about these wonderful tools of websites and blogs, excuse my ignorance... ^^' But I hope you don't mind me linking to your blog, even if I'm outdated. :)

Yup, I don't like being mistaken by (and insulted as) a slasher girl too. I slash too, but I don't do it all the time, - maybe I'm getting old and tired... =p I'm even amazed at myself that I could watch Fullmetal Alchemist on TV here paying attention to the actual plot instead of having dirty thoughts. XD But what gets me pissed is that everytime I try to see how are the fans here going, it seems they remain in the stage of slasher fans forever, they never talk about "true yaoi/bl", they never go further, they keep inside the fandoms, ignoring Japan's industry that offers more than just anime and doujinshi, ignoring articles in english cuz most don't know english, defining the whole BL scene with fanfiction vocabulary... *sigh* I mean, not everyone is like this, but the vocal majority seems so... :/

The tyrant who fall in love'... Você poderia me dizer onde os conseguiu? Preciso tanto saber o final da estória...

Abraços e obrigada!

Ha ha, o "oba" foi bom. XD
