It's a new year
I have big plans for 2008, big plans.
I am losing 40-50 lbs, I am saving as much money as I can, I am going to eliminate sources of stress in my life. These aren't things I want to do, these are things I'm going to do because I owe them to myself.
I love my job. I wonder sometimes how I fell into a job that is so perfect for me and so far away from my original aspirations. Being in Kindergarten was amazing and I have no doubt that if I were still there, I'd still be as happy as I was when I was there but working in Ready Set Go has already taught me so much and really opened me up to learning how to work with kids with all different types of disabilities and how to work with them and talk to them and to see my little guy who was considered non-verbal uttering words and mimicking speech that he hears and learning at an amazing rate, I can know that I am helping him do that. It's a great feeling.
