Another month another gig of streamload!
Well, havent updated in a while....why is this I hear you cry? Have I been away on some crazy adventure? Have I gots a fantastic tale to tell?
well..no, actually I've just been ill. lol
I hate being ill, couldn't even concentrate on anything so I was just sitting around bored all day. barely even hitting the net. Oh well, all better now.
On the plus side I've re-downloaded that corrupt ep of angelic layer and it's fine, so I can resume watching it :)
neuralinterface.com seems to be suffering. Most of the regulars are visiting but no-one seems to be making any new posts, although theres a bit in the creativity section. Most people are using the hub for chatting as well as trading (which I don't - no broadband :() so the forums not too busy. It's a shame cos it's such a friendly trouble free place (with good mods).
I wish AZUK would sort itself out but theres something not right, it appears theres some tension among the mods about the new appointments. At the end of the day it's up to Jono who he picks and whatever thier opinion the others should respect his wishes. I don;t know what goes on behind the scenes but it sounds like some 'old timer' Mod is feeling a bit insecure and getting childish about it. As an ordinary member I have to say I find this ridiculous, on NI every new mod has always been welcomed. It's not like some kind of exclusive power club or something.
Personally I think the new mods are needed and Kitana and Caz are good ones, althoug I kinda feel sorry for them if they've had a bad reaction from some of the other mods. I kinda feel sorry for Yumie too but I'm sure the new mods will be a big help when they've settled into thier roles.
Speaking of Neuralinterface, the .co.uk site is also suffering from NI's abscence since no one else can set up new galleries. I'm only a mod on the main site but none of the art mods have the ability and no one else got admin rights. Maybe I'll email NI, I'd really like to see that place kicked into life. Meiko at least should definetly get a gallery and maybe some people of AZUK would want one, I'd certainly like to see it.
