Journal comes alive once more!

Well I am still alive and well. Haven't been active in my old online haunts much lately, been too busy with work and study (ugh)

This damn National Programme for IT is such a pain in the arse. I've never had to deal with such a bunch of tw*ts in my life. Talk about backstabbing goalpost movers.

Finished the two OU courses I was doing, started another and signed up for another in feb - only that ones a 60 point level 2, the ones I've done so far are 30 point level 1's. Theres a 5 month overlap after my that course starting and my current one finishing so maybe I won't find it so easy anymore.

Other stuff... I have joined a gym round the corner and also started piano lessons! Picking it up quite well so far, although being this time of the year the inevitable xmas carols came out last lesson. :( Someone gave me a couple of home study courses on French and Japanese. I always regretted not taking a language at school so lets see what we have time for......

Why are music teachers are quite mad? With crazy, staring eyes.

Can't remember the last time I watched any anime, but I have been watching a live action Japanese show: Shinsengumi. Set in the last years of the shogun, it tells the story of a self appointed group who set out to defend Kyoto from the rebel factions. Several of the characters are actually found in certain animes (notably Saitoh and Okita from Kenshin) as it's a very famous part of Japanese history. It's certainly one of the most interesting and absorbing drama I've seen for a long while. Roll on episode 32!
