i havent had a complainy entry lately so i figured now would b a good time. if ur not in the mood please stop reading now.
how many ppl got these "update your student information" sheets from teh school? how the hell cud it change? if u were caucasian last year, the odds r pretty good ur going to be just as white this year. not a lot of ppl turn african overnight. if u have experienced such a phenomenon i apologize.
also today i got my first letter from a college ive never heard of that wants me to attend. seriously, if i want to go there, ill apply. sending letters out to half the country sounds to me like "our school sucks and we're desperate". its hard to feel special when ur sent the most generic letter ever with ur name typed in off-center in another color in random places accompanied by the double pronoun he/she used to describe u in other places. just save the postage.
i no everyone's heard this a million times by now but fuck summer assignments. summer and assignment are two words that should never be in the same paragraph together. if i was a teacher my summer assignment would be as follows (which id announce over the p.a. on the last day of school): "attention all stundent's entering Dan's Jamaican History class. ur assignment this summer is to find a homeless person in worcester and offer them ten bucks if they'll buy u a case of corona. then i want u to go out to a party and get completely shitfaced for one night. i want to hear all your stories when u get back. grading is A+ on three tests for anyone who makes me fall off my chair laughing. and please remember not to drink and drive"
hold on, im almost done. my last complaint is that i didnt get to hang out w/everyone this summer. im sorry, but it seems this happens just about every year. if i promised u and didnt come through ill owe u one for the rest of the year that u can redeem at any time.
