Great news, everyone!
I'm not completely psycho-batshit crazy!
Hard to believe, I know it. I just got back from my first psychiatric appointment ever and it went exactly as I expected it to, only better. The appointment went 10 minutes past its hour and 1/2 time and the shrink was still struggling to diagnose me with something.
Sure, we went though evaluating me for the classics: depression, all forms of ADD and ADHD, even OCD as well as some more obscure stuff she was reaching for symptoms of. I told nothing but truths about all aspects of my personality and still managed to come through clean and label-free.
Stunning, huh?
The doc even started getting bored near the end because there was nothing even remotely treatably wrong with me. Ha!
I'm difficult and boring to diagnose. *smirk*
All psychiatric and psychological evaluations agree: I am a frustratingly normal case.
