And for the record, I really, really hate the whole "Fake Geek Girl" thing that has been going on in the CosPlay, Gaming, Comic, Film, etc., etc., community / industry for the last couple of years; and really, this kind of sh*t isn't limited to "Geek Life" - every sub-culture has its elitists and snobs (e.g. "real" runners don't think that Hashers and Mud Runners are actually runners; some whisky anoraks condemn anyone who thinks that Blended Scotch, Blended Malt, or Canadian whisky can be as good as, or is comparable to Single Malt whisky; and the list goes on and on). However, no one, I repeat, NO ONE, has the right to judge your love of anything, from comics to films to music to whisky. Be who you are and like what you like.
Also, today is "National Tell a Girl She is Beautiful Day"...not sure why we need a specific day for that, because we should be telling people that every day, but what the heck, to all the whisky-loving, CosPlaying, Gaming, alt-Film-loving, etc., etc., women out there: You're all beautiful, all the time, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
