Collection vs. Accumulation: What's in Your Cabinet?

A great post. I also think a collection could mean that the bottles are never intended to be consumed. Although you could have a collection that you're saving to drink at a later date. I'd say my whisky is truly a jumble, as I buy different ones on my journey to learn what I like. However, I do currently have Auchentoshan Three Wood, 12, 18, and 35 year (just opened the 18 year on my bday). I think I will narrow my accumulation into a true collection when I discover what I love.
