The other night at a friend's house we decided to have some fun creating different Miis on his Nintendo Wii. Basically what a Mii is a character that you can design and name and use in some Wii games like Wii Sports and WarioWare: Smooth Moves. In addition to creating Miis of some of our other friends and his co-workers, we also did one of Carl from Aqua Teen Hungerforce and a few well known figures from /b/. Among them Happy Negro and Nigra (the "Pool's Closed" guy). Soon we were playing Wii Baseball with an entire team of these created Miis. It was pretty funny to see Carl catch a fly ball. :p
The possibilities for Mii characters are endless, given the multitude of head, hair and eye choices, among other things. We began to wonder how hard it would be for Nintendo to perhaps create additional things one could use to make Miis from and then send them as part of a software upgrade. Imagine if they created the components that allow one to start designing Miis that resemble animals. Imagine golfing with a fox, bowling with a dog or smacking a homerun with a chicken. Now that would be something. :) Oh well, the Wii's run is still young; who knows what will happen a few years down the road...
And now, before I sign off today, I must share this:
"If there is someone on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal."
I must share that, because it is the truth.
