doing well in school
Well finals are here and I have received my first grade.
I got a 100% on my neurobiology final. This makes me happy for a number of reasons, not including that I will have an A in the class.
While it is important to do well in all subjects, I'm glad to see myself doing superb in the area of science/medicine that I want to pursue. I perform somewhere between ok and good in organic chemistry which is something I will never use after I take the MCAT. It is not that the subject is uninteresting, but I am just not excited about it or focused on it. I'm sure if I really wanted to be a synthetic chemist I would get 100%s on my orgo exams.
I suppose it makes me happy to see that I am able to comprehend and do quite well in the areas I want to dedicate the rest of my life to. I cannot wait to be in medical school.
