I HATE playing Minnesota. Don't take me wrong - I don't hate the guys on the team ... as individuals. But I fucking hate playing that team. It's just so frustrating! They make us look bad - we look like we're constantly trying to catch up ... which we were. I gotta say, though - Konowalchuk, Morris, McCormick - those guys stepped UP. Sauve finally looked comfortable in goal.
That being said, I can pretty much guess what Joey's gonna say in practice tomorrow. And he'll be right. We can't keep falling behind and trying to come back. We have to play hard and get up first.
David is not taking things well. I don't think he was upset so much about being pulled as he was upset about getting to that point - if that makes sense. He just wasn't having a good game. He didn't play poorly, but he didn't play very good. And with a ... frustrating ... team like the Wild, they make you pay for that. Oh hell, what do I know? I'm not a freakin' goalie. I don't know what David's thinking right now.
All I do know is that he's really upset, and I don't like it when he's like that. I'm gonna go over to his place. If he wants to talk about it, then I'll listen to him, but if he doesn't, then I'll just curl up with him and we can snuggle until we fall asleep.
