When is a threat a threat?
Are all feelings bad?
How has hedonism become the goal
Like the bottomless pit to nowhere?
How did life get so hard
And growing up such a painful task
Does the butterfly know how beautiful
It is after it gets out of the cocoon?
Or does it think it ugly with its prints as battle scars
Does it become like Buddha and just be
Without consciousness and labeling
Maybe that's what makes it so pretty
