You, Me and

Dear YOU,

How could I ever thought that I got the better end of the deal? YOU treated me like a princess queen. YOU did everything so that I'd be happy. YOU sacrificed yourself. YOU lost yourself.

Who suffered when YOU were gone? me.
Who refused to learn when YOU were gone? me.
Who refused to bend when YOU were gone? me.

And so as a tribute to YOU, I will work twice as hard in becoming what I was suppose to be. I will learn what I should have learned if only I gave my share. For in all those times when I thought I was getting the better end of the deal, I actually was experiencing a most pleasant yet self-softening and character-losing tragedy.

Thank you for showing me that we cannot live in a world of just happiness.
