Did you hear that?
That was a sigh of relief. From me. Got results back from Gwen's tests (she went and stayed with the vet part of the day yesterday), and she's maintaining at home the progress she made during her week's vet stay the end of last month.
Gods, that was an awkward sentence, no?
So, basically, she's still hanging in there. She's still eating her prescribed food, and taking her antibiotics twice a day, even though she hates them. And her numbers are still about where they were when we got her home two weeks ago. The good news is that she's put some weight back on, cuz wow, she was skinny. She's got another month of antibiotics to do, which will not thrill her, and then she goes back for another quick stay at the vet's for more tests, and we'll see how things are then. In the meantime, she's still a happy, purring little monkey-cat, and that's the best test of all.
Still keeping our fingers crossed, but things are looking up a bit.
