MMW and shotguns
This past Saturday Adrian, Evan, and I went to the Variety Playhouse to see Mediski, Martin, and Wood. The show was great they played for about 4 hours give or take with the intermission. Before the concert we went to see my dad who was in town for a friend’s birthday party. The show was really good they just walked out on stage did not say a word and just started playing. They jammed straight for about 2 hours. It started to get late and I was ready to leave, not that the music was bad it was just that Gordon had been left alone for about 9 hours and I know by that point that he probably had a accident.
We got into the car to leave and I noticed I had a voice mail on my cell phone. So, I called it and there was a really weird message from my mom. She said" Stacy don't call me on my cell phone but this is an emergency so call me at the house when you get this". I called he back and she told me she had just been robbed at gun point. I was like WHAT? She said that her and my step dad went to walk a friend’s dog and their car broke down. They called my aunt Mary to come pick them up and she said for them to meet her at the front of the subdivision. The started to walk to the front and a car passed them really slow and pulled into a driveway and pulled right back out. She told me that she knew they were about to be robbed so she started to walk faster, that’s when 3 black guys jumped out of the car and held a shot gun to my mom. They demanded her purse and held a gun to my step dad’s head and demanded his wallet. As a side note these we the worst robbers ever. They did not take any of my mom's rings and my step dad had a thousand dollars in his pocket they did not get either. The bad thing was that the same guys robbed some one else a few hours later. The cops called my mom's cell phone and they guys answered it. They were fucken with the cops.
My mom said she was ok just really shaken up, I told her to take a Darvocet and try and got to bed that's when she yelled. "I would but they were in my fucken purse" I felt so bad for her, I just wanted to give her a big hug. You see my mom has really bad luck, last year her and my step dad was on their motorcycle and a car crashed into them at a red light. It really fucked up the bike. My mom has really bad problems with her legs and the crash did not hlp that out much. She will be ok she just needs to get over the shock of it.
