4 Ways to Deal with Stress

There are a ton of ways to get past the tension. These are the things I do to get rid of it. I hope these tips will help you in some way.

1. Ponder for a little while. This is now the time to reflect upon yourself-do you need to do something about it, or leave it as it is? There are stressful moments that are out of our hands, while some aren't. You need to decide which one will most likely benefit, and which one will most likely put into waste.

2. Satisfy your cravings. This is what is also called "guilty pleasures". It could be food or anything you have been yearning for. This mechanism works by ephemerally making yourself happy. However, make it sure you won't overindulge. Too much of anything is deadly and vice versa.

3. Have an active lifestyle. Most likely, either school or work-related activities stress the heck out of us. Idling for a long time is melancholic and therefore is more stressful. Do something that is not related to what stresses us. That will keep us preoccupied and will eventually forget about it.

4. Talk to people close to your heart. You can't keep all your problems or stress to yourself. People around you might have a misunderstanding, thus creating more chaos. Your friends and family might help you in solving it. Be prepared though, because it does not happen all the time. Instead of being helpful, they might piss you off more.

These things I have mentioned all boil down to beating the crap out of your stress by just being happy. As they say, less muscles are involved in putting a smile than frowning. However, that doesn't mean you have to indulge in activities that will eventually harm you in a batshit crazy way.
