Cooking Gone Wrong

Sep 20, 2014 12:04

I never got my mom's talent-which is cooking. She told me my grandmother taught her how to cook at such a young age. Actually, she didn't teach me, so she has no reason to tell other people that I have no future in cooking. I'm not interested either. What I want to do is eat good food.

There are situations that you have to compel yourself to learn such things, especially when you have no other choice left. It's when I went to college. I had to cook, especially when the area is flooded with putrid water, in which you can't get out; otherwise, you'll get Leptospirosis, which is gross by the way!

Even if I didn't know the basics, I got beefed up in cooking some complicated meals. Heck, I didn't even know if the meat is already tender! So, I never trusted my work to be tasted by others. "I'll get there, don't worry. Practice makes perfect," I demand.

This obssession is gonna help me alleviate my cravings for fastfood. Healthy living is a must! It'll also save my time in going out just to buy food, as laziness waves his hand at me. It's fun to do, even if it's time-consuming.

P.S. It's sexy for a guy who knows how to cook. <3
