Gimme a Head with Hair

OK, so bellanotsoblu requested this poll some time ago, but I am only getting around to posting it now. She was wondering what it is "normal" to spend on hair care, and as neither of us can think of a more scientific instrument than a LiveJournal poll, here is...

Poll The Haircut Poll
Thank you for your responses and your support of scientific inquiry.

Thanks DAMPHA!!! But I do have to say that it's not so much that you GO to the salon to get your hair cut it's more your word choice and being upset that they didn't have your products and being sooooo excited when they did have YOUR products. You might be the first male to ever receive hair products as a gift from me.

and... EXCUSE MOI for making such generalizations!!! And i am strongly fighting the urge of subtracting points for some word usage and knowledge of extras at the salon.

The awful truth is that I don't actually use those hair products in my hair. I put them on ice cream.

y'know, if you're going to put Salon hair products on ice cream, why not add caviar? It's just as edible, and less expensive.

On a slightly unrelated note, I always wanted to create a band called "Paul Mitchell and the Split Ends."

Oh, absolutely. In fact, styling mousse and shad roe on black currant gelato is an unbeatable combination.

You and I both just lost some "straight points." I imagine in your case, a few honest comments about your feelings regarding the Minnesota Vikings might suffice to bring you back to zero.

Key word is HONEST! None of your fake, but amusing comments about the monster truck pull thingie you went to last night.

Oh, don't worry, joakleaf is the real article, sports-wise. Although to my knowledge, he does not attend monster truck pulls.

friend me away.

Plus and minus straight points. It's a "game" Dampha and I play. Positive points mean straightness and negative points mean unstraightness.

Why is "negative" associated with "unstraight"?

What are you trying to say?

dampha April 26 2005, 21:03:19 UTC
Well, I think it's because if I don't turn out to be straight, that would be a negative thing indeed.
