"HOLY FUCK!"
Chem Lab was the first event to be announced, and Tyler and I got 1st in it, so we started the chain. Then I got 3rd in Forensics, which is amazing, because we thought we did really bad. And then I got 1st in Write It/Do It!! I seriously am so excited. I can't believe we got 1st overall, and I can't believe we're going to States. I've never seen Mrs. Roberts so proud of me. :D Yay for us, though... I wouldn't have cried if I wouldn't have held the trophy, and thought about the four years of hard work that I have put into SMUCKERS... and then I looked at my father, and he was crying... and that did it for me.
It was so crazy, though... I knew that we had done well, and I was expecting a 3rd place finish as a team, which still would have gotten us to States. Anyway, when they announced the 3rd place winners, and it wasn't us, my heart sank a little bit. But when they announced the 2nd place winners, and it still wasn't us, I looked at Emily, felt a pain in the pit of my stomach, and told her that it was all over. Mrs. Roberts and Mrs. Bassett both put their hands on my shoulders, and gripped. When they announced that the first place team was Frankenmuth, T, Em, and I automatically hugged, and completely lost it.
It was the best feeling in the world.
I seriously can't believe it.
